▶ How do I use this site?
Use Self Taught Japanese Vocab List Maker to create vocabulary lists from any Japanese content. Paste a URL (including direct links to PDF files), upload an EPUB ebook, upload a photo of a book page, or paste text directly. For each word you will get its reading in hiragana and romaji, its part of speech, and its definitions. You will also get a link to its definition on Jisho.com and a way to look up the context of where it was used. You can even take a simple quiz of 20 questions from all the words, and export vocabulary lists for Quizlet and Anki. Great for building JLPT study lists — just paste any N5–N1 level article and extract the vocabulary instantly.
